Galvanized steel coils

Galvanized steel coils are metallic materials with a zinc layer adhered to the surface of thin steel sheets through a continuous galvanizing process. The main materials are steel and zinc alloys, and they are divided into two types: ordinary galvanized steel sheets and alloyed galvanized steel sheets. Products are classified into seven grades according to performance, including general purpose, mechanical interlocking, and stamping. The substrate is made of cold-rolled coils or hot-rolled pickled coils. The coating is classified into four categories according to the zinc spangle structure: normal zinc spangle, small zinc spangle, no zinc spangle, and zinc-iron alloy, and further designated by codes from Z60 to Z600 based on the weight of the double-sided coating.Surface treatments include passivation, oiling, paint sealing, and phosphating.

Packing & Delivery

Inner Lining: Oil paper or rust-proof paper is used to directly contact the galvanized coil surface to prevent scratches and provide basic moisture protection.

Middle Layer: Wrapped with a plastic film (such as polyethylene film) to enhance moisture protection.

Outer Reinforcement: Circumferentially bound with steel strapping or galvanized packing straps, with even spacing and tight binding; Common steel strapping specifications are: width 35–60 mm, thickness 0.6–0.75 mm, tensile strength ≥700 MPa. Steel inner/outer corner protectors are added to both ends of the coil core to prevent edge damage.
