Carbon steel bars

Carbon steel bars, also known as carbon steel bars or ordinary carbon structural steel bars, are strip-shaped steel products with iron and carbon as the main alloying elements, a carbon content typically between 0.02% and 2.11%, and no large amounts of other alloying elements. As a basic industrial material, carbon steel bars are widely used in machinery manufacturing, building structures, automotive parts, and precision instruments due to their excellent mechanical properties, machinability, and economic efficiency.

Hot-rolled carbon steel bars: Formed by high-temperature rolling, with diameters typically ranging from 5 to 250 mm. Bars with diameters of 5-9 mm are often supplied in coils, known as hot-rolled wire rods, primarily used as raw materials for drawn steel wire. Larger diameter hot-rolled bars are commonly used in building components or rough-machined parts.

Cold-drawn carbon steel bars: Drawn at room temperature using dies, with diameters typically ranging from 3 to 100 mm. They offer high dimensional accuracy (tolerances controllable within ±0.2 mm) and a smooth surface finish, making them suitable for precision parts manufacturing.
